Spring Family Portraits in Colorado Springs, Colorado An early May snow storm forced us to reschedule Erica's family session. We shot for maybe 10 minutes and had to call it because it was just too chilly for the kids. Attempt #2 went much better. Erica's daughter is blind but that didn't slow her down at all. She kept me on my toes. She's the sweetest big sister and loved snuggling and kissing her baby bother, twirling and dancing, and finding lady bugs. We had a great time and got some really beautiful pictures. -Whitney Colorado Springs, Colorado Family Portrait Photographer

Christmas Family Portrait Mini-Session in Colorado Springs, Colorado Even though we just did Halloween fall photos, Chelsea wanted portraits for her Christmas cards. So we planned on a cute little mini-shoot. I love how everything turned out. Jude was not happy about another photo shoot so soon... until we brought out the Christmas cookies. :) - Whitney Colorado Springs Family Portrait Photographer Halloween Fall Family Portraits in Colorado Springs, CO I just love seeing Chelsea's sweet family. This year for fall portraits, we decided to get Jude's costume. Chelsea made his Sock Monkey costume and it was just the cutest. We had a super fast session and when Jude was done, he just waived and walked away. So sassy. - Whitney Colorado Family Portrait Photographer Fall Engagement Portraits and Fall Family Portraits in Colorado Springs Jessica and Mark have been clients for several years now. They finally set a wedding date and asked if we could do a family/engagement session. They're always so much fun to hangout with, I couldn't say no. We had a blast (saw a squirrel!), played ball, had a leaf fight and found some super heroes! They're such a fun and happy family. I can't wait to photograph their Vegas wedding soon! -Whitney Colorado Springs, CO Family Portrait Photographer Engagement Photographer Wedding Photographer Fall Family Portraits in Colorado Springs, CO Jenna contacted me for fall family portraits this year. We had a run of bad weather and figured we'd get out quick and try to get it done before we lost all of the leaves. You can't really tell in the photos, but it rained on us over half the session. We were lucky, where we were shooting had a pavilion so we used that to hop in and out of the rain. The kids were troopers and we got through it and got some really great pictures. - Whitney Colorado Springs Family Portrait Photographer Couple's Sunset Portraits, Colorado Springs, Colorado Tammy and her husband hadn't had any photos taken in a while. So we had a really quick session in a nearby field. The mosquitoes were insane that night! I had to edit out clouds of them. But I do love that sunset light we got. - Whitney Colorado Springs Portrait Photographer Colorado Springs Family Portraits I met up with Kylie and her family for a super quick family session at sunset. We only had about 15 minutes but we got some really great pictures! - Whitney Colorado Springs Family Portrait Photographer Goodbyes are the hardest. It was going to happen eventually but I'm so sad. Katy's family is PCSing and I have all the feels about that. Her favorite flowers are sunflowers and that's lucky because they are a popular crop around here. We decided that one of our last sessions for her family should be with the sunflowers since they are perfect right now. We did this super quick after work right outside the base. We were extremely careful not to damage any of the flowers. I think they turned out great. I will miss y'all so much! Thank you for choosing me to be your photographer. <3 <3 <3 Whitney Family Portrait Photographer Colorado Springs, CO Whitney Elliott is a top photographer in the Colorado Springs, CO area and specializes in Family Portraits, Portraits, Weddings, and Real Estate Photography.
It was such a hot muggy day when we went to shoot Maki's family and maternity portraits. We were eaten alive by mosquitos. In spite of the heat and bugs, Maki looked radiant, like a goddess. <3 - Whitney Colorado Springs Maternity Portraits Family Portraits Whitney Elliott is a top photographer in the Colorado Springs, CO area and specializes in Family Portraits, Portraits, Weddings, and Real Estate Photography.
Ms. Hannah needed some updated family photos to send to her deployed husband. We had a really lovely afternoon, even if it was a bit windy. Her oldest was so happy to pose for me. It can be difficult to wrangle three, unwilling, young children and get decent photos of all of them, but between mom, grandma, and me.... I think we nailed it. Or at least got close.
- Whitney Colorado Springs Family and Child Portrait Photographer I had so much fun photographing Anna's family this past weekend. Impromptu snow ball fight! It was still a little chilly but overall not too bad. Except when I fell in a hole and got soaked. As it turns out, Photographer in a snow-hole is pretty funny.
Whitney Colorado Springs Family Portraits Chelsea contacted me and asked if we could do a family portrait session with some snow. Naturally, I said yes! These turned out awesome and it wasn't miserably cold! So I'll call that a win.
Colorado Springs Family Portrait Photographer, Whitney Elliott I love how these Lifestyle Family Christmas Portraits turn out. I really hope more clients become open to doing these. Nothing is more intimate or personal. It's even more special when it's your baby's first Christmas!
Colorado Springs Family Portrait Photographer, Whitney Elliott My bestie, Melissa Hunt (photographer at Oakley Photography) Really wanted some pictures of her family and pup in the snow. It was SO cold! The real temp said it was -17 that day! I looked absolutely ridiculous in my husband's Carhart overalls but they kept me warm. These turned out pretty great for a quick little 10-minute session.
Colorado Springs Family Portrait Photographer, Whitney Elliott For Halloween this year I set up a cute booth in my garage and took free portraits of Trick-or-Treaters as they came by. It was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed capturing all the sweet kids in their costumes. I may need to do this every year.

- Whitney Family Portrait Photography Colorado Springs, Colorado Mark's sweet girlfriend contacted me and wanted to gift him a portrait session with his boys. They were a lot of fun to work with and we had some gorgeous colors. Boys don't usually enjoy photos but once they got to start tossing a baseball and wrestling they had a great time.

Colorado Springs Family Photographer, Whitney Elliott Makalanie's Family Session at the Pumpkin Patch and Cake Smash Session - Colorado Springs, Colorado9/24/2013 Fall is here! We decided to go check out a local pumpkin patch for this family's session. Dad is deploying soon and they wanted to get photos before he left. And baby boy's birthday is rapidly approaching so we did a mini cake smash session afterwards. I love his Maverick look.
