Colorado Springs Children's Portraits I've done several sessions for Stacey now. She mentioned that her family owns a farm and had several horses. And naturally, I insisted we'd have to have a session at her house. I mean, come on, horses?! Thankfully, Stacey didn't think I was crazy person and was totally on board. Since she had so many beautiful Crab Apples blooming on her property, we decided on two looks. First, we'd shoot the girls in fancy dresses, all dressed up and pretty, with the flower blossoms. Then, we'd get some cowgirl looks with the horses. The weather was perfect, the girls looked beautiful, the horses were cooperative. I'm super happy with how this shoot came together. -Whitney Colorado Springs, Colorado Children's Portrait Photographer

Spring Family Portraits in Colorado Springs, Colorado An early May snow storm forced us to reschedule Erica's family session. We shot for maybe 10 minutes and had to call it because it was just too chilly for the kids. Attempt #2 went much better. Erica's daughter is blind but that didn't slow her down at all. She kept me on my toes. She's the sweetest big sister and loved snuggling and kissing her baby bother, twirling and dancing, and finding lady bugs. We had a great time and got some really beautiful pictures. -Whitney Colorado Springs, Colorado Family Portrait Photographer |
